What is Admitted Students Day?

Admitted Students Day is your EXCLUSIVE chance to experience UNT in a whole new way. Take flight at our Mean Green Flyby, a drive-thru event designed just for you! See campus like never-before as you experience UNT for the first time as a new Eagle. This drive-thru event will showcase UNT spirit, traditions, student life and much more! Celebrate your admission to the Mean Green Family in this one-of-a-kind experience from the comfort of your vehicle. You’ll also receive some limited-edition swag!

How should I prepare for Admitted Students Day?

Road trip! A full tank of gas is all you need (Your GPS and a mask would be good, too.). Be sure to check for inclement weather (Remember, Texas will surprise you!). Also, before you leave home, review our Directions information and have your confirmation or reminder email handy.

Why should I come to Admitted Students Day?

  • Experience UNT campus like never before and visit your new home.
  • Get limited edition swag only for admitted students.
  • Discover Denton and learn more about our vibrant Texas town with a big heart.

What do I do if I don’t receive my confirmation email?

Your confirmation and all event communication will go to the email address used to register. If you completed a registration but did not receive a confirmation email, be sure to check your spam/junk folders. Still don’t have it? Email preview@unt.edu and request a resend.

Why is registration limited?

We must limit our impact on the surrounding city traffic. We are working hard with UNT Police and City of Denton Police departments to ensure all guests and staff have a fun and safe experience while on our campus.

If our registration is full, please select a different time or complete the registration form to be placed on our waitlist.

Can I take a tour or speak to Admissions, Financial Aid, Academics and other offices during the event?

Unfortunately, no. The event will be drive-thru only. No university services will be available and all buildings will be closed. We encourage you to contact our university offices during regular business hours, Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

If you would like to schedule a campus walking tour for a later date, visit UNT Tours.
